Why Quiet Signal exists

Living with chronic pain or PTSD makes a simple question – “how are you doing?” – genuinely hard to answer out loud, over and over, to the people who care about you.

Quiet Signal exists to make that easier: a private daily check-in, and an honest, low-effort way to let someone know when you want to. It’s not a diagnostic tool, a crisis service, or a replacement for professional care. It’s a small, quiet habit that can make it easier to stay connected on the harder days.

Who it’s for

Quiet Signal was built with the chronic pain and PTSD community in mind, including veterans and military families managing both. It’s open to anyone who finds it easier to log a status than say it out loud.

Pro

The core app – check-ins, journal, history, and crisis support – is free, forever, for everyone. Quiet Signal Pro is an optional upgrade for people who want to share with more than one person, see extended 90-day trends, or export an appointment-ready summary.
